Responsibilities

The AGC, Compliance is responsible for assisting in the ongoing development, implementation and assessment of Intuit’s enterprise compliance program.  Intuit’s goal is to be in the top 10 of America’s most reputable companies, and this role will play a significant part in ensuring we meet that goal.The job of the AGC, Compliance is to help ensure that Intuit complies with laws, regulations and industry leading practices by:

  • Driving excellence and demonstrably compliant outcomes across Intuit’s enterprise compliance programs, including:
    • anti-bribery and corruption
    • global trade
    • anti-trust, and
    • consumer protection
  • Developing, refining and updating procedures to enhance corporate governance.
  • Acting as a compliance champion by monitoring and validating controls to ensure that projects, documentation, and processes are compliant with current compliance regulations.
  • Implementing communications and training strategies to publicize Intuit’s compliance practices to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Designing and performing assessments, analysis, monitoring, and reports on compliance risks.
  • Identifying gaps in the design and operating effectiveness of control frameworks.  
  • Collecting metrics that will allow the company to understand current FCPA, UDAAP, anti-trust and other risk trends and control effectiveness.
  • Working with internal teams to remediate any activities for continuous process improvement, including managing projects for compliance enhancement.
  • Flexibly assist in other areas of concern to benefit Intuit’s legal compliance posture.

Qualifications

  • Ability to provide risk-based advice, drive operational efficiency, manage and think globally.
  • Very strong process and problem solving leadership skills at both strategic and functional levels
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
  • Understanding of FTC Section 5, OFAC, FCPA, anti-bribery, and anti-trust statutes.
  • Fun to be around in challenging situations with an amazing sense of humor.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of ten (10) years of direct work experience in:
    • FCPA and other compliance related laws and regulations
    • OFAC and other sanctions related regulations
    • Control framework development
    • Analyzing business processes for compliance with required procedures or control frameworks (e.g. NIST, Sentencing Guidelines)
    • Managing audit remediation and process improvement projects
  • Juris Doctor
  • Experience in Consulting/Advisory and Legal fields
