Cybersecurity Corporate Counsel

Overview

Intuit is hiring a Cybersecurity Counsel to join on our Global Privacy Team and help accelerate our mission of powering prosperity around the world.

Cybersecurity Counsel will report to the Chief Privacy Officer and partner with key stakeholders across the company and around the world to manage legal risk related to cybersecurity.

This role requires a strategic lawyer with deep subject matter expertise in cybersecurity coupled with a pragmatic approach to operationalizing emerging legal and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have a successful track record as both a lawyer and a business partner capable of holistic problem solving. This is a position best suited for a thoughtful lawyer who values diversity and thrives working collaboratively in large ecosystems at multiple levels with a wide variety of constituents.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience practicing cybersecurity law in-house or at a top firm.
• Deep knowledge of cybersecurity laws and regulations including CCPA, GDPR, GLBA, NYDFS Cybersecurity Regulation and others.
• Fluency with the NIST Cybersecurity Framework, ISO and other industry standards.
• Proven ability to translate complex legal requirements into forward-looking policies, frameworks and guidelines.
• Thought leadership, interpersonal skills and a desire to drive responsible innovation.
• Commitment to diversity, self-awareness, empathy and intellectual curiosity.
• JD from a top law school and good standing with at least one U.S. State Bar.
• Engineering or technology background a plus
