ABOUT THE POSITION

Represent Soaren in criminal and civil litigation and other legal proceedings, draw up legal documents, or manage or advise on legal transactions.

Analyze the probable outcomes of cases, using knowledge of legal precedents.

Advise concerning business transactions, claim liability, advisability of prosecuting or defending lawsuits, or legal rights and obligations.

Work with Executive team to conduct risk assessments and propose operational changes.

Interpret laws, rulings and regulations for individuals and businesses.

Present evidence to defend clients or prosecute defendants in criminal or civil litigation.

Study statutes, decisions, regulations, and ordinances of quasi-judicial bodies to determine ramifications for cases.

Negotiate settlements of disputes.

Play a role in managing the Company's corporate governance, including preparing materials for board of directors and board committee meetings and the annual meeting

Supervision of outside counsel in both transactional and litigation matters

Prepare, draft, and review legal documents.

Examine legal data to determine advisability of defending or prosecuting lawsuit.

Evaluate findings and develop strategies and arguments in preparation for presentation of cases.

Gather evidence to formulate defense or to initiate legal actions, by such means as interviewing clients and witnesses to ascertain the facts of a case.

REQUIREMENTS

Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school

Experience working in finance, lending or banking industries

Licensed to practice law and an active member in good standing with the State Bar of Arizona, including an absence of adverse disciplinary history

Advanced regulatory knowledge regarding OFAC, FDCPA, FCRA and other federal and State laws pertaining to financial industries

Ability to communicate across all levels of the organization, present complex ideas concisely and clearly articulate ideas verbally and in writing
