DISH Network is seeking a mid-level transactional attorney who is passionate about our business and interested in working closely with our business teams to change the way in which the world is connected. This role will provide legal support to several business groups, including DISH’s in-home services, call centers and billing & credit groups, and will have the ability to directly contribute to DISH’s future growth. Primary responsibilities fall into the following categories: Drafting and negotiating a wide variety of complex commercial contracts including service provider agreements, software license and services agreements, third-party service provider agreements, and general business operations legal supportCounseling business groups including DISH’s in-home services, call centers and billing & credit groups, on various legal issues Working closely with our business team to accomplish DISH’s goals and strategic objectivesImproving legal processes and proceduresAssisting with other responsibilities as needed#LI-ST1

A successful applicant will have the following: Bachelors degree from a four-year college or university Admitted to practice law in at least one state J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school with a law school class rank in the top 25%; 3-5 years of experience drafting and negotiating a wide variety of complex commercial agreements with a large national or regional law firm or leading corporation Excellent communication, project management, organization and multi-tasking skillsA passion for both the in-house practice of law and the home entertainment industryEnergy, resourcefulness and a demonstrated desire to achieve
