Work directly as a functioning member of multiple teams within Nelnet. As a Nelnet Fellow, you will gain understanding of how a variety of business departments throughout Nelnet operate. These areas include:


Legal Counsel
Compliance
Corporate Tax
People Services
SEC Accounting
Venture Capital Investments


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Support department projects.
2. Research new topics and develop department materials.
3. Special projects or other duties as assigned.
4. Attend company orientation and development classes as applicable.
5. Meet and interact with Nelnet employees at a variety of levels.
6. Participate in department team-building activities.
7. Collaborate internally with employees and departments to accomplish work projects.


EDUCATION:
1. Pursuing law degree


EXPERIENCE:
Knowledge of computers: preferably Microsoft packages and familiarity with Internet including ability to use search engines.
