About the Role:

Our small boutique law firm located in Oceanside, NY is seeking a talented and motivated Associate Attorney to join our team. This position offers an opportunity to work closely with attorneys on a variety of legal matters and provides the potential for professional growth and advancement within the firm. In addition, this position also offers and opportunity work with diverse clientele in a collaborative and dynamic setting.

Responsibilities:

Conduct legal research and analysis on a wide range of issues.

Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, contracts, and agreements.

Represent clients in various legal proceedings, including court appearances, depositions, and negotiations.

Assist senior attorneys in case management and strategy development.

Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in legal matters.

Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on various legal issues.

Attend client meetings and participate in case conferences and strategy sessions.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files and documentation.

Assist with administrative tasks and other duties as needed to support the firm's operations.

Stay informed about changes in laws, regulations, and legal precedents relevant to the firm's practice areas.

Uphold ethical standards and professional integrity in all aspects of legal practice.

Salary:

Commensurate with Experience.

Requirements:

Requirements:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Admission to the New York State Bar in good standing.

Minimum of 2-4 years of experience practicing law, preferably in a similar practice area or setting.

Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.

Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency in legal research tools and software applications.

Commitment to providing high-quality legal representation and client service.

Experience in civil litigation, real estate, or estate planning is a plus but not required.
