Sr. Legal Counsel
Overview
Crocs is seeking a talented Senior Corporate Attorney to join its Legal Department in Broomfield, Colorado. The attorney will handle a variety of general corporate legal matters and primarily work in close collaboration with the business teams to negotiate complex technology contracts and other transactional documents and manage business risks. The ideal candidate will have extensive legal knowledge/experience in reviewing and negotiating a variety of contracts including expertise in technology transactions.
What You'll Do
Act as a key business partner to and work closely with many departments, with an emphasis on Information Technology.
Review, draft, and negotiate various documents, including commercial contracts, software license agreements, privacy policies, data processing agreements, as well as other complex commercial arrangements
Build and improve standard form agreements and implement legal process with a focus on efficiency and risk tolerance
Proactively identify and mitigate risks within the business and deliver business-focused legal advice to internal clients
What You'll Bring to the Table
JD from an ABA accredited law school
8+ years of relevant experience as a practicing attorney, ideally with at least 2 years of in-house experience (either as an in-house lawyer or working with in-house lawyers as clients)
Disciplined self-starter with excellent work ethic having ability to re-prioritize on the fly when faced with competing pressures and demands
Admitted to a US State bar in good standing
Significant understanding of technology and commercial transactions including intellectual property and how it relates to software, marketing deliverables, and privacy/data security obligations for consumer brands
Knowledge and interest in the evolving artificial intelligence landscape
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in addition to interpersonal skills
Detail oriented with strong organizational skills and proficiency on cross-functional teams
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast paced, team environment
Able to positively impact cross-functional teams to achieve business goals

Salary or Pay Range: $160,000 - $180,000

Pay offered will vary based on job-related factors such as location, experience, training, skills, and abilities.
This position is eligible to participate in a company incentive program.
