About the Role:
Reporting directly to CEO Jonathan Siddharth, the General Counsel at Turing will play a pivotal role as we expand our global business. The general counsel will provide legal advice and collaborate with the CEO and other executives on high-level projects in support of Turing's strategic objectives.

Responsibilities:
Develop a comprehensive legal strategy for the business across diverse geographies.
Partner with all areas of the business, including Finance, Sales, Business Development, and Human Resources, to advise on legal risks, business strategies, and other issues.
Provide guidance to the company, clients, and partners on navigating privacy concerns in light of existing and forthcoming regulations.
Advise executives on the status, legal risks, and business terms of high-value, strategic deals.
Provide general legal and business advice to the Company's senior management and Board of Directors
Take charge of orchestrating, negotiating, drafting, and finalizing intricate commercial contracts, strategic partnership agreements, technology arrangements, and financing deals for the company, ensuring alignment with both business and legal objectives.
Lead legal initiatives essential for achieving IPO readiness.
Cultivate and manage a high-performing legal team with a global mindset.
Represent legal considerations at the executive level.

Requirements:
The ideal candidate for the General Counsel role at Turing is expected to bring a wealth of experience and a proven track record in navigating complex legal landscapes. We seek an individual who can provide strategic-level expertise, independent opinions, and leadership on high-stakes legal projects. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the legal future of Turing.

Education:
J.D.from a top ranked university

Experience:
A minimum of 15years of legal experience with a focus on strategic leadership.
Proven track record of providing legal counsel in complex, multi-jurisdictional environments.
Substantial experience in corporate governance, risk assessment, and managing high-performance legal teams.
Previous roles in global IT services companies are highly desirable.
Demonstrated success in scaling a company, particularly from an early stage.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex legal concepts clearly and concisely.
Background in both large law firms and scale-ups, particularly in a fast-paced startup environment.
Ability to be hands-on and operate efficiently within a lean team structure.
High ethical standards, low ego, and the ability to engender confidence, trust, respect, and credibility.
