General Counsel

Beacon Hill Legal is working on a General Counsel position with a technology related company located in Boston. This position will report to the CEO and be part of the Executive Team. This private equity backed company was founded twenty years ago and has more than five hundred employees globally.

In this role, the General Counsel will support and provide advice to all company department's on global strategic initiatives and commercial transactions. A primary focus will be on software license agreements and partner agreements on the outbound side, as well as managing the entire legal function. This position will also be responsible for providing advice for general corporate matters, employment, IP, privacy, compliance, etc.

Candidates should have a J.D. from an accredited law school, and have a minimum of 10 years of legal experience, including managerial experience. 5+ years of experience working in the software industry is preferred.
