Counsel

Pulmonx is looking for an experienced Corporate Counsel to join our Legal Team! This is an exciting opportunity to work cross-functionally within a dynamic and team-centric culture. This role offers the option of hybrid work arrangements with the Legal Team working in-office 3 days/week and remotely 2 days/week. Pulmonx offers the opportunity to work in a sophisticated, publicly-listed pulmonology medical device company which is building a market for its important severe COPD/Emphysema therapy.

Key Responsibilities

• Drafting, negotiating, and managing the contracting process for the full range of contracts, including customer agreements, commercial contracts, non-disclosure agreements, consulting agreements, distribution agreements, service agreements, and supplier contracts.
• Provide support and advice for drafting of securities filings and disclosures.
• Provide legal support and counseling to commercial, engineering, and other business teams across range of corporate and business areas.
• Assist with other corporate work, including litigation, investigational and employment related projects.
• Work with specialist outside legal counsel on range of matters in variety of U.S. and international jurisdictions.
• Provide support for business development and due diligence activities.
• Assist with management and support of the Companys privacy and healthcare compliance program.
• Must be able to manage outside counsel resources effectively and efficiently.
• Must be able to effectively work with cross functional team on range of projects and programs.

Requirements:

• JD from accredited law school.
• Must be admitted, active and in good standing with the California state bar, or with another state bar and registered, or eligible to register, as in-house counsel with the State of California.
• 2-6 years minimum of experience working in law firm and/or in-house legal department.
• Ability to develop cross-functional relationships and offer guidance and counsel informed by the companys business goals and priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Compensation: $150,000 - $170,000 annual base salary dependent upon experience in addition to competitive benefits
