Law Degree and Bar Membership: Incumbent must have graduated from a law school that is accredited by the American Bar Association, must be an active member in good standing of the bar of the highest court of a State, U.S. commonwealth, U.S. territory, or the District of Columbia, and be admitted to practice before a state or federal court, of good character; and in full compliance with continuing legal education requirements of an appropriate bar. The incumbent must maintain this professional qualification at all times as a condition of employment.

Must possess J.D. or LL.B from a law school accredited by the American Bar Association. Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: experience must demonstrate significant, validated, and recent expertise and leadership in military justice or complex civilian criminal litigation as a trial-level attorney. The incumbent must also demonstrate advanced proficiency providing authoritative legal advice, assistance, and training in complex criminal litigation. Experience in multi-disciplinary representation, capital litigation, and as a teacher/instructor is preferred.
