Students who are selected for these internships will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of business and legal affairs matters in each of Concords divisions. Work experience may include shadowing or assisting with mergers and acquisitions; frontline artist, writer, and author signings; contract summaries and administration; new media licensing; infringement and litigation; and more. Our goal is to provide a varied, educational, and engaging legal experience for interns, while enabling them to contribute to Concord and its operations in a meaningful way.

Applicants should have: the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment; excellent legal research and writing skills; good judgement and ability to prioritize tasks; attention to detail and strong follow-up skills; excellent organizational and communication skills; and be tech savvy with experience using Microsoft Office (specifically Office 365, including Outlook, Word, and Excel). Ideally candidates will have had some exposure to intellectual property law and/or copyright law. Candidates must have a demonstrated passion for music business.

While Concord has offices across the world, summer 2024 internships will operate on a hybrid schedule with interns working primarily in either Concords Los Angeles, Nashville, or New York City office. A fully remote internship position may be considered based on the circumstances. The program will be 10 weeks, with an anticipated start date of June 4th.

Concord is committed to creating a diverse work environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. We employ, train, compensate, and promote regardless of race, religion, color, national origin, sex, disability, age, veteran status, and other protected status as required by applicable law. Interested candidates should submit a cover letter (including a statement of the unique contributions they will bring to Concord), resume, and recent transcript through the ICIMS link on the job posting (e.g., through the ICIMS link on LinkedIn, Simplicity, etc.).
