Head of Global Product Compliance
Position: full-time role for a candidate who is energized by product and packaging labeling and testing regulatory process. This Candidate can effectively collaborate with creative and operational teams, outside suppliers, third party testing facilities, and across all levels of the organization. You will be developing and maintaining applicable labeling, testing and package labeling across international markets while implementing product compliance framework to ensure our products meet regulatory requirements globally.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute a comprehensive global product compliance strategy aligned with the companys business objectives and values.
Stay up to date with relevant international regulations, standards, and industry best practices to ensure SKIMS product labeling and testing compliance practices are current and effective.
Drive cross-functional projects to enhance or develop new global products and packaging compliance needs.
Own the start-to-end processes for product testing & Labeling across all product categories.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, development, sourcing, production and legal to integrate compliance requirements throughout the product development lifecycle.
Lead efforts to identify, interpret and assess global product compliance regulations, including but not limited to safety, quality, labeling, chemical restrictions, restricted substances, and environmental regulations.
Monitor and track changes in regulations and standards, and effectively communicate those changes to internal stakeholders.
Implement and manage testing and labeling compliance programs with suppliers, manufacturers, and vendors for compliance with product safety and quality standards.
Ensure product compliance with applicable laws and regulations in all target markets.
Develop and efficiently manage SKIMS third-party testing and packaging protocols and database.
Maintain a sound understanding of applicable local, state, federal and international laws, and regulations.
Support updating vendor manual requirements for product testing and labeling.
Identify specific product compliance priorities for the company; plan and prioritize activities based on risk on a prescribed. cycle (e.g., development of annual compliance plan).
Assist in updating SKIMS product compliance policies, procedures, and resources, as needed.
Prepare regular compliance program briefings.

Experience/Education:
Bachelors degree (B.A./B.S.) or equivalent.
10+ years of product compliance management within the apparel industry, with a focus on global Level.
Strong knowledge of international product and packaging regulations, standards, and testing protocols.
Knowledge of material characteristics construction techniques and production processes
Knowledge of industry testing methods/Standards (SATRA, ISO, AATCC, ASTM, etc.)
Understanding of supply chain processes and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
Detail oriented, analytical and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
$150,000 - $165,000 a year
