Job Description

E-Billing Manager, Legal Operations atCheckout.com:

Checkout.com is seeking a dedicatedE-Billing Manager, Legal Operations to join our legal team to support business growth and expansion!

You'll be a part of our Legal Operations team and responsible for assisting with the overall strategy, development, implementation and maintenance of processes and technology solutions under the General Counsel. This role will be responsible for identifying and implementing operational efficiencies and driving cost effective operations resulting in tangible savings for the organization. This role will have specific oversight of and responsibility for vendor relations, including outside counsel, and will partner with Finance and Procurement to oversee budgets and accruals, develop financial reports, and aid in processing invoices.

How you'll make an impact

  • Oversee the relationship with the departments outside counsel law firms and othervendors, andassist with related billing/invoicing and payment processes.
  • Oversee vendor payment process using e-billing software and partner with Finance to manage the accruals processes for the department.
  • Optimize and enhance the use of technology, including creating process efficiencies, data integrity and managing cost.
  • Leverage data through metrics and dashboards to provide valuable insights to leadership on various initiatives.
  • Assist with departmental people processes such as onboarding new employees and contractors, and provide assistance as requested with communications, memberships, all-hands meetings, department surveys, and employee engagement initiatives.

Qualifications

About you:

  • Proven experience in a Legal Operations role (5+ years) at least two of which includes demonstrated experience
  • Prior experience with help desk and service management solutions featuring ticketing systems, self-service portals and knowledge-bases (e.g., Freshservice, Jira, Confluence)
  • Prior experience with building and maintaining intra-net portals and pages
  • Experience managing business operations functions including systems, data analytics, budgeting, or vendor oversight
  • Youare able to leadlarge projects, workwith cross-functional team, and can balance and prioritizemultiple tasks and projects
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple large vendor relationships
  • Demonstrated experience with budgeting and related reporting
  • You can proactively identify needs and issues and provide solutions and have proven experience identifying and implementing best practices and process improvements
  • You are detail-oriented with a willingness to roll up your sleeves to take care of large and small tasks
