Eaton's legal organization is currently seeking a Senior Vice President and Deputy Chief Legal Officer.

What you’ll do:

Reporting directly to the Executive Vice President and Chief Legal Officer for Eaton, the Senior Vice President and Deputy Chief Legal Officer will serve on the leadership teams of the Chief Operating Officers for both the Electrical and Industrial Sectors of Eaton. This role will be responsible for providing legal and strategic counsel to Eaton’s operations in order to achieve sales targets and growth strategies while at the same time mitigating the risks and threats the organization faces. He/she will build and drive effective partnerships with business and functional leaders working collaboratively across the organization. This leader will possess robust strategic thinking and agility to partner with cross-functional leaders to drive long term results. This leader will possess a high level of both business and legal acumen. The ideal candidate is an action-oriented critical thinker, attentive to detail yet able to synthesize information quickly. He/she will have a successful track record of developing forward-thinking, innovative legal strategies that will help the organization achieve aggressive growth targets as well as mitigate risk. Additionally, this executive will have a proven track record of attracting and developing talent and building overall organizational capability.

Qualifications:

Eaton is seeking an exceptionally talented, strategic-minded executive with excellent leadership skills and broad-based legal experience in a multi-national corporation. He/she should have a minimum of 15 years of experience in providing progressive legal support for large commercial organizations that have global manufacturing operations. This executive should also have a minimum of 10 years of experience managing professionals in a multi-national corporate environment.

Skills:

The expected annual salary range for this role is $270000.0 - $396000.0 a year.
