About the Role:

We are looking for an entrepreneurial, nimble, and innovative attorney to join our team of builders. Reporting to our General Counsel, you will act as a right hand in all legal matters across the McCourt Global domestic and international portfolio including new business acquisition, compliance and risk initiatives. This is a unique opportunity to work across a variety of industries alongside our founder and highly strategic executive team.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide legal advice and support on a broad range of corporate matters, including corporate governance, compliance, and regulatory issues.

Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements and contracts.

Stay abreast of changes in relevant laws and regulations and ensure the company's compliance.

Provide guidance on labor and employment law issues, ensuring the company's practices align with legal requirements.

Lead and oversee legal aspects of mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic transactions.

Participate in due diligence on potential transactions and provide legal guidance on deal structures.

Advise on legal matters related to family office activities, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Collaborate with stakeholders to address legal needs specific to family office operations.

Provide guidance on wealth management and succession planning.

Partner with legal groups within portfolio businesses and verticals.

Required Experience:

Juris Doctor from an accredited law school with a strong academic background

3-6 years’ experience practicing law, preferably with a focus on corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and/or asset management

Exposure to cross-border and international legal affairs

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

The expected salary range for this position is: $200,000 - $250,000 annually. The actual salary offer will be determined on factors including the qualifications, experience, skills, and abilities of the applicant. This role is also eligible for an incentive bonus.
