As an Assistant Attorney General in the General and Special Prosecution Unit of the Criminal Division, you will manage conflict cases from solicitor's offices and attend court proceedings statewide for pleas, motions, and trials involving a variety of offenses, including property crimes, murder, and human trafficking. Performs professional legal work under limited supervision for the state, subdivisions, and officials.
Necessary Requirements: Must be a member and in good standing with the South Carolina Bar. Must satisfy Rule 403 requirements.

- Case Intake and Evaluation: Assists in the beginning stages of a case being referred to and accepted by the office.
- Case Management and Progression: Advances the case through the judicial system appropriately.
- Case Disposition: Seeks a just resolution in all cases.
- Docket Management: Handles their caseload and provides relevant information.
- Miscellaneous Matters: Handles miscellaneous matters assigned by the AG, CDAG, DAG, SADAG, or ADAG.

- Requires excellent written and oral advocacy skills.
- Must have excellent criminal court experience.
- Travel required.
