In-House Counsel

Overview

The Pictsweet Company is growing! Family owned and operated for over 75 years, Pictsweet is a frozen vegetable producer with agricultural roots. We are hiring an In-House Counsel at Pictsweet's corporate office in Bells, TN. The In-House Counsel provides legal advice to Company management under the direction of the General Counsel and Secretary.

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial contracts and agreements.
• Maintain the Companys regulatory compliance program; recommend appropriate revisions and modifications; and provide audit support to ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
• Engage, evaluate and manage outside counsel.
• Perform such other duties as assigned by the General Counsel.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

• J.D. degree.
• Current Tennessee Bar admission

EXPERIENCE:

• Five-years of general corporate law and commercial transactions
• Prefer corporate experience within manufacturing organization.

SPECIAL SKILLS:

• Must have the ability to organize and prioritize work; possess effective oral, written communication and presentation skills; and be technology literate.
