Job Description
Cintas is seeking aSenior Counsel I - Corporateto provide in-house legal services to the Company with particular emphasis on contract review and negotiation. The Senior Counsel I -Corporate will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, structuring and negotiating commercial transactions on a day-to-day basis. This position will collaborate, provide direction and support to Cintas division leadership with negotiating terms and conditions of new or renewed customer and vendor contracts. A successful candidate may have experience or be willing to learn proper compliance procedures and industry practices with respect to federal, state and local government contracts. This position will work directly with customers and vendors and internal partners in negotiating terms and conditions and responding to bids, requests for proposal, etc. Some training of partners on contract terms and conditions as well as government compliance matters will be required.
Skills/Qualifications
Required
- Juris Doctorate Degree
- Admitted to a state bar
- 3+ years full-time relevant legal experience
- Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and intranet/internet
- Have an active driver's license
