osition Description: As a Human Resources Consultant, you will be the person our clients will look to for guidance in some of their most challenging moments as employers. You will be responsible for providing HR consulting services to them that they can practically implement in real-life situations. You will be who they call when they do not know what to do.
As an Associate General Counsel, you will provide employment law advice, counsel, and support to the Companys internal team. You will educate our human resources department and our clients on upcoming employment law changes so we can provide the best services to our clients and our clients can be prepared for those changes.

Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic HR guidance to mid-market clients on various employment issues, such as hiring, firing, employee complaints, and company policies.
  • Assist clients with investigating employee complaints and providing recommendations for resolution.
  • Research complex changes to federal and state employment laws and educate internal teams and clients on those changes.
  • Periodically present on webinars or other forums on topics impacting our clients
  • Draft position statements, employment law updates, severance agreements, and other documents

Education & Experience Qualifications:
  • Licensed to practice law and in good standing.
  • A minimum of 5 years of employment law experience
  • Advanced knowledge of employment law legislation, policies, and procedures
  • Professional employer organization/employee leasing experience a plus

Skills and Personal Qualifications:
  • High emotional intelligence and discretion
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Identify workforce issues and provide practical recommendations for resolution
  • Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including, but not limited to, PowerPoint and Word
