General Counsel

Fusco has a strong presence in the Southern Florida market, and has corporate offices located in Miami as well as New Haven, CT.

Position Overview: The General Counsel will have primary responsibility for handling and overseeing all legal matters for the Company. Reporting to the Fuscos President and CEO, Lynn Fusco, the General Counsel will provide pragmatic and high-quality legal counsel that supports the Companys business interests, advances the Companys goals, and minimizes legal risk. The General Counsel will play an important strategic role within the business as a member of a close-knit, warm and high-energy senior leadership team. The successful candidate will be highly collaborative with excellent communication skills and the ability to provide sound legal advice on a wide range of critical business and legal issues. As the Companys only lawyer, the General Counsel will be responsible for overseeing outside counsel in a variety of matters, including leasing, insurance coverage, and all litigation.

Experience: The successful candidate will have significant litigation experience and be a strong corporate generalist. Experience working in a law firm and in-house is preferred, and experience in the property management or construction industries is a plus.

Location: New Haven, CT or Miami, FL. Potential for hybrid work arrangement.

Compensation: Competitive and commensurate with experience.
