About the Role:

You will join CrowdStrikes dynamic global Legal Team in an exciting era of growth and opportunity as we scale the organizations capabilities to meet the challenges of a quick-paced technology landscape. This role will report to the Senior Lead Counsel, Marketing and Litigation and provide legal advice and guidance on the creation and distribution of promotional activities at CrowdStrike.

This role is open to candidates remotely based in Texas, with a preference for someone in the Dallas, TX metro area.

What Youll Do:

  • Partner with internal marketing teams to counsel and advise on marketing content and programs including web content, product and services promotional materials, press releases, blogs, CrowdStrike hosted events, and more.

  • Consult, review and advise on customer-facing sales and marketing materials.

  • Ensure compliance with trademark, copyright, consumer protection, and advertising laws.

  • Understand the context of the cybersecurity market as a whole.

  • Coordinate and partner with key legal and business stakeholders to ensure awareness and consistency across the organization including: Privacy and Public Policy, Intellectual Property, Product Legal, Commercial Legal.

  • Assist in developing and publishing succinct and actionable self-help legal guidance such as one-pagers, guidelines, policies and more that have a valuable business impact.

  • Communicate legal advice on risks and challenges with clarity, impact, and purpose.

  • Partner with third party consultants to drive results reflecting speed and keen understanding of business needs.

  • Contribute as a team player furthering the credibility of the legal team as an effective, respected, and valued resource within the company.

What Youll Need:

  • JD and bar admitted with 3-5 years relevant advertising law work experience at a top-tier law firm and/or in-house at a public company, including at least 3 years of experience at a top-tier law firm.

  • Prior experience in advertising law and consumer tech or cybersecurity products are an advantage.

  • Exceptional and demonstrated organizational and project management skills.

  • Strong written and verbal communications skills with the ability to influence in order to build successful client relationships.

  • Team player who welcomes responsibility, accountability, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

  • Resourceful self-starter mentality who enjoys wearing multiple hats, digging into challenging projects, and successfully delivering.

  • Ability and willingness to travel and work varying hours to accommodate global workforce, as needed.

  • Experience working in a high-growth environment or in the technology sector.
