Paralegal

The detailed job duties would be the following:

• Draft immigration-related documents such as responses to Requests for Evidence, I-983 training programs for students, etc.
• Draft company support letters for Global Mobility matters.
• Assemble evidence and non-immigrant visa packages (i.e. H-1B, TN, E-3) before they are sent to USCIS.
• Work alongside outside counsel to ensure recruitment ads for the PERM process are posted timely, and
  recruitment reports reflect accurate information.
• Update the Approval/Withdrawal tracker after the approval/withdrawal packages are shipped.
• Connect with the business daily to provide guidance regarding CPT/OPT/STEM OPT.
• File service requests with USCIS and the premium processing unit.
• Perform legal research for attorney review and compile information that will help strengthen the case.
• Communicate with employees to update them regarding the status of their cases, address concerns related to
  international travel/visa stamping, and grace period.
• Communicate with the Department of State to confirm employee and consultant assignments.
• Address queries from the business regarding obligations pertaining to the metropolitan statistical area and
  prevailing wages.
• Monitor deadlines and expiration dates.
• Manage government correspondence.
• Handle special projects as assigned by the attorney.
