Senior Counsel - Litigation or Corporate Attorneys

About the Position:
We have been exclusively engaged by a sophisticated Chicago-based company seeking a large law firm attorney with a ligation or corporate background (7 or more years; partner preferred) for an exciting Senior Counsel role. Responsibilities:
· Work closely with internal departments and clients on renewal underwriting
· Respond to inquiries regarding coverage, underwriting, pricing, claims experience and loss prevention services
· Provide legal and insurance-related research and analysis
· Prepare reports for Senior Management meetings and Board meetings
· Work on marketing/business development initiatives to retain clients and recruit new clients
· Travel (a few days per month) required

Required Qualifications:
· Attorney with 7 or more years of litigation or corporate transactional experience
· Large law firm partner preferred
· Must have excellent client relations and communication skills and the desire for a strong client-facing position
