We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Legal Operations Manager to join our dynamic team. Reporting to the Global Head of Commercial Legal & Operations, youll play a crucial role in shaping and optimizing the commercial teams operations. This position presents a unique opportunity to make an impact by fostering excellence in legal operations, implementing cutting-edge technologies, like AI, and ensuring that the business operates at peak efficiency.

This role is based in our San Francisco office with an office-centric hybrid schedule. The standard in-office days are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Most Asanas have the option to work from home on Wednesdays. Working from home on Fridays depends on the type of work you do and the teams with which you partner. What youll achieve

  • Spearhead the optimization and management of top-notch legal operations technologies, systems, and processes.
  • Lead a team of legal operations analysts, driving these initiatives.
  • Guide cross-functional legal operations projects aimed at creating best practices in legal to ensure compliance and alignment with Asanas goals.
  • Use interpersonal skills to engage, influence, and align stakeholders at all levels. Leverage your eye for business, professional competence, integrity, flexibility, and personal approach.
  • Propel the adoption of best practices within the companys use of technology applicable to commercial legal operations, guaranteeing that Legal stays current with technological advancements.
  • Ensure seamless integration of the CLM system with other organizational systems, enhancing workflow and operational efficiency.
  • Define and drive strategic objectives for Legal Operations improvements.
  • Design, manage and conduct legal enablement programs to provide training on commercial legal processes and tools to the legal department and cross-functional teams.

About You:

  • 10+ years of experience in-house in legal operations and contracts management, preferably at a high growth technology company
  • Proficient in Asana, Google Suite, Salesforce, Ironclad and data visualization tools (dashboards); familiar with technology tools used in commercial legal processes such as DocuSign.
  • Capable of communicating effectively with various audiences, including senior management and key partners. Experience in turning business requirements into automated system tasks and workflows and flexibility in adapting to evolving business needs.
  • Strategic and creative thinker with the ability to identify challenges and find long-term solutions.
  • Experienced in coordinating and managing projects across various business departments.
  • Willingness to master tools used in supporting commercial legal teams, including those employing advanced technologies.
  • Hold a bachelor's degree. Possession of Project Management Certificate is a plus.

For this role, the estimated base salary range is between $195,000-$265,000 The actual base salary will vary based on various factors, including market and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process. The listed range above is a guideline, and the base salary range for this role may be modified.

In addition to base salary, your compensation package may include additional components such as equity, sales incentive pay (for most sales roles), and benefits.
