Job Title:Contracts Attorney

Department:Legal

Position Type:Full-Time, Exempt

Location:Work From Anywhere (WFA) in the U.S.

About The Role The Contracts Attorney reports to the VP, Associate General Counsel and is responsible for reviewing and drafting client contracts and related documents and partnering with internal and external clients to ensure contracts reflect the Companys position on legal and business terms and conform with Company policies.

This Is What Youll Do: The primary responsibility of this position will be the management of client contracts, both new and renewals and, contract management. Other responsibilities will include:

  • Negotiate terms and conditions of contracts in high through-put environment.

  • Review and revise service agreements, client policy documents and related documents.

  • Prepare and/or participate in preparation of client proposals and cross-divisional client contracts.

  • Coordinate review and input from appropriate business functions as needed to complete contracting documents.

  • Ensure contract activity and administration is in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and client specifications. Interact with all facets of the organization to ensure compliance with contract obligations.

  • Timely respond to day-to-day legal/contract questions from internal and external clients

  • Other job duties as assigned

  • Ability to apply independent judgment and creativity to contract resolution issues.

  • Excellent negotiation skills.

  • Ability to multi-task with strong attention to detail.

  • Ability to perform in upper-level management environment.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

This Is What We're Looking For:

  • 2+ years of commercial contracting experience, supporting commercial sales team or professional services

  • Experience with FCRA preferred

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited university

  • JD from an accredited Law School

  • Active law license in any of the 50 states

The salary for this position is $55,000 to $75,000. Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible to participate in the Annual Incentive Plan. A full range of benefits including but not limited to medical, financial, unlimited sick time, 22 days vacation annually (for FT workers; prorated 1st year of employment), parental leave and other benefits are also provided.
